Audit and Certification Process

Application Submission

Scope Identification : Clients provide details on the management system to be certified (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 20000-1) along with relevant organizational information.

Proposal & Contract : FICPL reviews the application and proposes a tailored certification plan, detailing audit scope, duration, and fees.

Stage 1 Audit (Readiness Review)

Documentation Review : Our auditors examine your management system documentation (policies, procedures, etc.) to ensure alignment with the relevant ISO standard.

Initial Assessment : We identify any potential gaps and recommend corrective actions before the Stage 2 audit.

Stage 2 Audit (On-Site/Remote Assessment)

Process Evaluation : Our impartial auditors assess the implementation and effectiveness of your management system, conducting interviews and sampling records.

Findings & Recommendations : Any nonconformities or areas for improvement are documented, with clear guidance for corrective actions.

Certification Decision

Independent Review : A separate certification panel—independent from the audit team—examines the audit findings, ensuring unbiased decision-making.

Certificate Issuance : Upon successful compliance, we issue an NABCB-accredited, IAF-recognized certificate, valid for a three-year cycle (standard practice).

Surveillance and Recertification

Periodic Surveillance Audit : Conducted annually (or as required) to confirm ongoing conformity with the ISO standard.

Recertification Audit : Performed before the certification’s three-year expiry to renew your status, driving continuous improvement and sustainability.

Submission : Clients or any interested party can submit complaints via email or through our online portal.

No Consultancy Services

FICPL does not offer management system consultancy to our certification clients, preserving the objectivity of the audit and decision-making process.
